Merry Month of May
TGFW (Thank God For Week-ends), and more so, for 3-day ones! This month we got away from the doldrums of work and the homogeneity of suburban life - our usual staple of movies, mall and dinner - at least for a month.
We started off with a wedding (a believably strong cultural and religious fusion), followed by a mother’s day outing with unexpected tourists all the way from the Philippines, a visit to the Reagan Library with my Republican friends (enough said about red and blue states – we’re all in this together), a high school production of West Side Story (we’re so proud of you D!) and a road trip to California’s northernmost Pacific Coast in Mendocino county via San Francisco/Oakland over memorial week-end.
